The mission of Mt. Nebo is to preach, teach, and share this very Message, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” -John 3:16
The church and their pastor must hold true to these standards:

that Jesus Christ alone is Lord of all and the way to salvation;

that the Holy Scripture is the Triune God’s revealed word, the Church’s only infallible rule of faith and life;

that God’s people are called to holiness in all aspects of life, including honoring the sanctity of marriage between a man and women, the only relationship which sexual activity is appropriate.
Vision
Our congregation recognizes that worship is one of the great strengths of our church and we worship our God who calls us to reach out with His Word to others. We also feel that fellowship is a critical part of our church’s success. Our small community of believers keeps in good contact with members and provides support for one another, especially among shutins. We believe our members eagerly welcome and engage the occasional new faces, however, we realize that a more deliberate and intentional effort must be done to make our community aware of our ministry. Lastly, we encourage our church members to discover and utilize the spiritual gift which God has placed in them for the strengthening of our congregation.
